This rifle is one of my Virginia rifle kits with a hand made patchbox. It is elegantly relief carved, with sterling silver inlays , wire inlay , polished lock with engraving gently aged, engraved brass mounts, hand scraped stock finishing, stained using Dangler stains, hand rubbed oil finish. It has a rice barrel and a Siler lock. Using the old original viginia rifle as a roll model I decided to step up the artwork to produce a high art rifle while staying with in the Virginia tradition
